Tangible Holograms
The Tangible Holograms project seeks to haptically augment holographic content through the use of a custom-designed haptic unit. This haptic unit has two robotic arms that move so as to align the surfaces of their end-effectors with the surfaces of nearby virtual objects, as generated by an AR headset such as the the Microsoft HoloLens.
